Ordered the grilled beef banh mi and it tasted extremely good. Ordered through the drive thru and had to wait a bit but it was worth it in the end.

Good stuff! Theres nothing like a hot bowl of pho on a cold day. I always get the shrimp pho, Thai ice tea & eggs rolls. All very delicious I've eaten here several times. They are generous with to go portions too.

This has been such a delightful experience all around. This is my 4th time at this location, I've tried their beef bahn mi (5/5) and their thai tea (5/5) and every time I been here it's always hit. Tonight I decided to come later than usual, im talking about 15 minutes before closing late, and they took my order no complaints. I ordered for here so I took into consideration they would be closing soon. Its 18:59 and I decide to ask for a to-go container cause I know they have to clean and what not but the sweet lady in the front told me to take my time and assured me there was no rush. The service , the food, the ambiance.. its all 5/5. Love it here!

Montebello Pho and Sandwich is a local favorite for banh mi and offers big portions, authentic cuisine and rotating specials. I would drive to Montebello just for this spot! This is one of the few places I know that has a drive through window, but they also have parking behind the restaurant. Food-wise, the meat to veggie ratio in sandwiches is simple, but generous and well flavored. The spring rolls are extremely fresh and made to order, and the special garlic noodles with shrimp has been reordered three times (because of how good it is!). The peanut sauce is freshly made and not too thick, and sambal pairs perfectly with spring rolls or any menu item. The iced Vietnamese coffee is a wonderful balance (not too sweet or too strong) with crushed ice cubes. Service is friendly but busy. They offer a couple tables indoor but have an extended patio for larger groups up front.

I finally found authentic pho in Montebello! I was in search of pho and found this hidden gem! The soup was very flavorful! I was a little under the weather and this hit the spot. The service was great and fast especialky during lunch break.

Clean. Flavorful. And a super good bargain. Just a smart choice. It's not heavy, or greasy it's light and bright and amazing. I'm addicted.

If you ever pass by this restaurant the ghost of Christmas past will literally come and slap you for not eating one of these sandwiches my god its sooooo goddam good EAT at this place now for good prices and freaking amazing cuisine Ps if anyone reads this get the sesame balls to they're really tasty

Small location, drove by it three times before I found it. If looks could be deceiving was a restaurant, this is it. Looking at the location you may think, eh, idk if should eat here. But let me tell you, the cost was great $14 for a nice portion of PHO. The flavor was delicious, the meat was tender, and the broth was on point. The staff was very friendly, they made sure I had everything I needed. They even have a drive thru, never seen anything like it. A must try if you're in the area.

It's been a while since I've come back to Montebello pho& sandwich and good lord it is even better than I remembered! I am feeling a little under the weather so I ordered chicken pho for takeout during my ridiculously short lunch break. After a few minutes of waiting I was given the soup and sent on my way. I recently had pho from another spot and this is far superior. The broth is so flavorful I didn't need to add the hoisin or much anything to it. The chicken was tender and well seasoned. I finished the whole thing and drank the broth!! Unheard of for me. Definitely a great spot.

My first unfinished review: Wow.. this banh mi just made me happy. The soft bread, the mayo, the flavor of the chicken with that jalapeño kick. My 2nd time here and I feel the same! The soft, warm bread is amazing. I got it to go, but then I had to take a bite to taste it fresh! The chunks of chicken are so tender and flavorful...and veggies with the jalapeño make it a full package. Being pregnant I haven't gotten to eat my favorite Italian deli meats and I am more of a cold sandwich person then a hot sandwich person. But this banh mi has filled the gap of my sandwich fetish. The restaurant itself is a very unsuspecting little place off a main road. It has a cute outdoor seating area with a few seats inside and a small parking lot. The customer service is great and they are very helpful and prepare food fast. I haven't tried my springs rolls yet and I definitely want to come back for pho, but I ordered the Vietnamese coffee and it is great also. Not too sweet and not too strong.. it's just right for me.
